I have arrived

So far it has been pretty awesome here in good ol' Vermont. I met my team leader Dennis, and he seems to be a really cool guy. I am really excited about getting to know him better over the summer. I just played a game of ping pong and showed the east coast how AZ pings it up.

The verse which the program is based around is Psalm 86:11

Teach me your way, O lord, and I will walk in your truth.
give me an undivided heart, that I might fear your name.

I am really desiring God to teach me his way because he knows what is best for me. I am just a foolish and sinful human who thinks he knows what is best.

Apparently it is a big deal that I already had a job before I got here. Which means that my first week will be pretty chill because I won't have to look for a job though I do plan on searching for a second job so I would be able to get a full 40 hrs a week. Starbucks will only be able to offer me 25-30 a week.

I actually checked out the starbucks where I will be working. It is walkable which is Saaweet! It is also only a cafe store meaning NO drive through. They were also pretty busy when I went in which is also cool. I don't really like lounging around for to long doing nothing.

Well I better get back to hanging out. So many people to meet and so many names to remember. I have already had to ask one woman for her name three times, weak sauce.

Day of Departure

Good morning,

I will be leaving today for Vermont at 11pm and arriving at 930am in Burlington. I am really excited for my trip and for what God has in store.

Things that you could be praying for:
- The ability to form strong male relationships quickly.
- A safe journey.
- The ability to trust in God's will in my life regardless of circumstance.
